As a Payroll Expert with Payroll Experts, you will partner with clients to process 100% accurate and timely payrolls, while exceeding our clients' expectations on service and support. Working on our extremely robust and flexible processing solution, you'll be empowered to answer your clients' questions and provide valuable solutions.
Internally, you'll be surrounded by a team of experts, Certified Payroll Professionals (CPPs) and Professionals in Human Resources (PHRs) who are dedicated to supporting your growth and our clients' satisfaction. Responsibilities
-
Primary responsibilities include processing payroll and maintaining the employee database for your assigned clients
-
Responsible for maintaining master payroll information (address changes, wage changes, update direct deposits, W-4 changes)

Ability to make manual wage calculations for manual check requests
-
Researching and answering questions regarding payroll and taxes for employees and management
-
Maintaining client/employee confidentiality

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
-
High School diploma or GED, Bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum 3 years of experience in a payroll administrator role

Must possess intermediate to advanced knowledge of multi-state payroll taxes
-
Must have intermediate knowledge of balancing wages against payroll reports to determine discrepancies
-
Detail-oriented, excellent documentation and follow-through skills

Strong computer skills; must also have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel experience

Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Must be dependable, detail oriented and very organized

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Ability and initiative to work independently without direct supervision
