Are you a skilled, customer service oriented, Appliance Technician living in or willing to relocate to GEORGIA, NORTH FLORIDA (GULF & PALM COAST), TENNESSEE OR ALABAMA? If your answer is YES, NEI wants YOU! 

 

Field Service Technicians trouble shoot and maintain Consumer and Business to Business (B2B) Major Appliances such as Refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers and LED/LCD televisions on-site.

Requirements

 

  • Travel to customers' location to perform maintenance and repair of various products to ensure top product performance
  • Conduct technical diagnosis and perform specialized repairs on a variety of appliances manufactured by LG, Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid, Amana, Frigidaire, JennAire, Electrolux, and others.
  • Assess the nature of the problem and make decisions to repair the product and/or replace parts
  • Prescreen service calls by contacting customer via telephone and obtaining necessary information to help diagnose problem and procure the correct part( s) prior to arriving at customer's home
  • Responsible for meeting customer satisfaction measurements, minimizing average on-site response time, and keeping open and accurate communication regarding service delays
  • Communicate with associate technicians for support and opinions on challenging symptoms and repairs as needed
  • Provide top quality service and work directly with customers in a professional manner
  • Provide technical advice, training, and assistance to customers on the operation of products
  • Maintain service related activities such as arrival, departure, and status updates utilizing tablet computer furnished by the company
  • Maintain an organized company work vehicle and manage tools, inventory of parts with

                accurate records of parts used, exchanged, and communicate when replenishment parts are needed

  • Process any required paperwork and data entry upon completion of each job
  • Minimum 2 years experience repairing Major Appliances
  • Possess appropriate EPA Certification or have the ability acquire it within 90 days of employment (On-Line, Open Book test)
  • Experience in the use of electronic and appliance or refrigeration tools and diagnostic test equipment
  • Ability to navigate multiple web sites and portals for research including diagnostic and part identification purposes
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
  • Ability to pass Criminal Background Check and Drug Test
  • Meet physical requirements generally associated with field service repair such as continuous bending and lifting up to 100 pounds unassisted
