Job Description

 

Position Summary:  Responsible for servicing the needs of Pro/Data Payroll Services customer base. This position requires a minimum of 2 years customer service, payroll and/or tax experience.  Familiarity with Evolution and SaasHR payroll platforms would be helpful.  Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word necessary.  FPC certification. 

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as the business structure of Pro/Data Payroll Services evolves.

 

Main Goal – Provide superior customer service and support to all Pro/Data customers.  

  • Submits payroll information provided by clients via PC data transmission, Tele-data phone submission, and FAX transmission. Reviews data, balances totals where applicable and in general makes every effort possible to assure the creation of a perfect payroll each and every time.
  • Maintain CRM client database.  This will consist of logging client questions or concerns and detailed resolution.
  •  Assist in researching and resolving client/system problems.
  • Maintains a high level of client retention though delivery of superior quality service
  •  Assists with the packaging and preparation of checks and reports so that the package is ready for the appropriate delivery service and method.
  •  Responsible for keeping current with periodicals and public forums available for the dissemination of information to payroll community.
  • Assists with the installation and conversion of new accounts to products and services offered by Pro/Data Payroll Services.
  •  Responsible for keying all product-related information necessary for maintaining accurate and complete client files.
  • Responsible for keeping abreast of the payroll and human resource processing systems employed by Pro/Data.
  • Responsible for keeping abreast of changes to payroll, wage and tax laws and corresponding with federal, state and local tax agencies on behalf of clients in problem and dispute situations.
  •  Participates and is available to help conduct internal training sessions.
  • Completes assigned individual training assignments issued by Customer Service Manager or Upper Management.
 

Requirements

  • Associates Degree with two years of customer service experience. 
  • FPC Certification required 
  • Experience with payroll, tax or human resource disciplines.  
  • Detail-oriented, excellent documentation and follow-through skills
  • Strong computer skills; Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite required and the ability to to type 55wpm. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Must be dependable, detail oriented and very organized
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability and initiative to work independently without direct supervision
  • Professionalism in working with all levels of employees and management
