Job Description
As a Host/Hostess you will work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, environment to deliver the best dining experience to our guests by:

Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner

Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion

Being knowledgeable of Macayo's menu items, promotions and policies in order to ensure a memorable dining or takeout experience

Ensuring 100% order accuracy on all takeout orders

Facillitating proper seating procedures to ensure great service

Maintaining cleanliness of lobby, restrooms and entrance

Assisting teammates in assuring a memorable dining experience for all guests

Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return

Doing whatever it takes to make sure every guest leaves happy and ready to recommend Macayo's and return
Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age

High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required

Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner

Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions

Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers in English

Abililty to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
