Job Description
Primarily responsible for managing the overall financial and ministry support activities of the International Office under the guidance of the Executive Director.
Essential functions and responsibilities:

Responsible for development and implementation of annual budget, with decision making authority on budgetary issues

Plans and prioritizes cash flow to ensure the organization meets is financial obligations in a timely and prudent manner

Advises the Executive Director regarding the financial stability of NAB
-
Presents financial reports to the Executive Team and members of the Executive Committee and General Council
-
Provides cost allocation and joint cost allocation documentation during the year and for audit process
-
Reviews Grant-in-Aid applications and makes recommendations to Executive Team
-
Provides leadership, oversight and supervision of the Ministry Support department
-
Supports NAB mission fields by initiating monthly transfer of funds, providing financial expertise and training to ensure utmost accountability and stewardship of mission funds

Serves as a key member of the NAB Investment Committee

Oversees annual financial audit

Oversees IT needs of the organization and coordinates fulfillment with IT contractor

Represents NAB at regional events as assigned
Perform other duties as requested by the Executive Director
Requirements

Certified Public Accountant with non-profit experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
