PREP/SALAD COOK

Applicants with a flexible schedule are preferred for this position.

 

Position Summary

 

Provide the highest level of quality and service to our guests.  Prepare food items for the station assigned.

 

Essential Summary

  • Read and understand recipes and POS generated tickets
  • Prepare salads, sauces, and mixes according to recipes for use at station
  • Assure that all food procedures are followed
  • Follow all sanitation guidelines
  • Become familiar with new menu items/dishes
  • Restock or breakdown assigned station before next meal period depending on shift

  • Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations
  • Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task
  • Teamwork Abilities - Ability to work together with a team in a positive manner to achieve a common goal; understand the importance of teamwork with both other line cooks and the rest of the staff
  • Experience with quantity food preparation preferred
  • Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
  • Response to direction - Receive and follow directions from supervisors; follow direction of computer generated tickets
  • Neat and well groomed

  • Stand, Walk, Use Hands/Fingers, Reach Outward, Lift/Carry, Push/Pull 10-25lbs - Constantly
  • Reach Above Shoulder, Bend, Lift/Carry, Push/Pull 25-50lbs - Frequently
  • Climb, Squat or Kneel - Occasionally
